Joyful Bozeman Wedding | Emma & Jesse

August 27, 2020

When I first talked to Emma many months ago I could tell her and Jesse were an absolute blast, and were head over heals in love with each other. Not the gushy kind of love, but a real, honest, genuine, sacrificial love. Her bubbly, relaxed, and joyful personality surrounded the room around me, even though we were just talking on the phone.  She talked highly of Jesse, of how much their dog Gracie meant to them, and of the life they wished to create together. That felt like forever ago… I can’t believe Emma and Jesse’s wedding has come and gone already, but it was one of the most emotional and heartfelt couples I have ever had the honor of capturing. Amongst all the unknowns that happened this year, these two never faltered.

Emma and Jesse live in Laurel, MT and made the trip to Bozeman to get married in Cottonwood Canyon at The Woodlands.  It’s a stunning venue south of Bozeman that has character, class, and is surrounded by nature. We even had a couple dear visit throughout the day!

The dress Emma picked out had a stunning train, lots of buttons, details, and beautiful lace that accentuated her features and came close to being as stunning as her beautiful smile! Her bracelet and earrings were from her mother, as well as the diamond in the center of her ring.   I didn’t learn this fact till later on in the day, and it made me so excited that these sentimental details get photographed on wedding day’s.

Emma was surrounded by her best friend and maid of honor, her sister, her new sister-in-law, and her niece during her ceremony, but even more family was present to watch Emma put on her wedding dress. They cried, wiped tears off each others faces, shared champagne, hugged and gushed over Emma as she got ready to meet her husband-to-be in their first look.

Emma and Jesse shared a sweet moment together before the hustle and bustle of when their guests would arrive.

While the girls showed off their epic tattoo’s and laughed together, the guys started off pictures by shotgunning a Bud Light, but if it wasn’t for their dresses they would have totally jumped in and joined the fun!

Emma and Jesse met through Tinder.  Yes, you heard that right.  And here they are, a few short years later, committing their love and friendship to one another before their closest friends and family.   If there is anything I have learned by getting to know these two is they take every obstacle in stride. Loving each other through it and supporting each other fully.  They knew within a month they were meant to be together, and that hasn’t changed.

Emma and Jesse’s ceremony was personal, heartfelt, full of laughter…AND tears!  Their Officiant, Michael, told stories of their relationship,  little details Emma and Jesse gave him, and commended them for their genuine love for one another.

They love to go camping, have backyard campfires, float the river, hike with their dog, and just enjoy down time with each other!

“I love how hard he works, how he never lies to me and how he strives to show me how much he loves me. Every Day.”        -Emma

“I love her chipper personality, how easy she is to get along with, how polite she is towards everyone, and her kindness.  And I love how ridiculously happy she gets when I get her snacks.” -Jesse

And pronouncing for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Albrecht!

Before hopping right into food, dancing and their guests, Emma and Jesse took a few minutes to themselves to talk and have a breath all to themselves.

After signing their certificate, toasts, some cake cutting, Emma and Jesse moved onto their first dance.

The garter toss got a little heated, and a little competitive!  Jesse surprised us all with his dance moves and did his best to make Emma laugh, shake her head, and cry with laughter.  And the groomsmen got competitive reaching for the garter!

Congratulations Emma and Jesse!  Here’s to a life full of love and laughter!!!
